The Challenge:

The original site had been structured according to business units specific to only one regional center. Using site traffic and feedback from the project owners and subject matter experts to explore better approaches to content organization, we discovered the lack of a common language and product orientation.

In response, we proposed a content approach based on several points of view. Together with Visa personel we identified a list of five organizational categories, including business unit, payment type, funding source, industry, and stakeholder. Programs could be associated with just one, or several, or all categories. All five content categories and sub-groupings within were presented right on the home page, allowing users to navigate directly to relevant content.
